Meet the 30 newest PGA TOUR members
NEWBURGH, Indiana – The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour season concluded Sunday afternoon at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance, as 30 PGA TOUR cards were awarded in a ceremony on the 18th green at Victoria National Golf Club.
The top 30 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List earned PGA TOUR cards for the 2024 season, which, for the latest group of Korn Ferry Tour graduates, begins in January at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
Five players who began the week of the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship outside of the top 30 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List played their way into the top 30, with Korn Ferry Tour Championship winner Paul Barjon headlining the group, rising from No. 45 to No. 8 with his second win of the season. The other four players who moved into the top 30 were Mac Meissner (No. 35 to No. 20), Wilson Furr (No. 32 to No. 24), Josh Teater (No. 34 to No. 26) and Roger Sloan (No. 31 to No. 29).
Ben Kohles led the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List for the vast majority of the season and finished atop the standings; he was just over 300 points clear of No. 2 Chan Kim. By virtue of finishing atop the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, Kohles earns exemptions for the 2024 PLAYERS Championship and 2024 U.S. Open, in addition to being fully exempt for the 2024 PGA TOUR season.
