Utah Championship provides more than just professional golf. It also endeavors to raise money for the tournament’s charitable partners and contribute to the PGA TOUR’s unprecedented success in giving back to local charities.
Tony Finau Foundation
Utah Championship is a proud partner with its alumni & PGA TOUR pro, Tony Finau, and his foundation. Tony Finau Foundation is built on a family experience through the game of golf. It aims to empower and inspire youth and their families to discover, develop and achieve the best of their gifts and talents through the game of golf, educational funding and core family values.
“Through this partnership, we have been able to further my Foundation’s efforts to support youth education and recreation programs, as well as launch a development and mentorship initiative to assist promising young players from Utah in reaching their dream of playing on the PGA TOUR one day and representing our proud state on the world stage,” said Tony Finau.

Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute is the region’s only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and cancer specialty hospital. The sole purpose of Huntsman Cancer Foundation is to raise funds to support HCI's mission and to ensure excellence in these endeavors through the development and prudent stewardship of private resources.
Huntsman Cancer Foundation became one of Utah Championship’s charity organizations in 2012 and has since received $350,000 from the tournament to aid the fight against cancer.
For The Kids
For The Kids helps children in our own backyard. Every week, it delivers bags of food for the kids at Liberty, Backman, Escalante and Meadowlark Elementary to take home over the weekend.
The focus of the organization is to involve the community in developing, mentoring, and feeding kids with passion, dedication, and care. Community involvement allows For the Kids to succeed in providing volunteer opportunities, fulfilling specific donation needs, and organizing private fundraising opportunities, in addition to the weekly food deliveries.
