Utah Championship is on Korn Ferry Tour’s 2023 schedule
Salt Lake City, UT (October 4, 2022) — The PGA TOUR released its 2023 Korn Ferry Tour schedule today and Utah Championship, Utah’s only official PGA TOUR event, is teeing off August 3-6 at Farmington’s Oakridge Country Club.
“After 31 years, Korn Ferry Tour’s Utah Championship has become a staple event in our state,” said Utah Sports Commission President & CEO Jeff Robbins. “This is the path to the PGA TOUR and it was exciting to watch local KFT graduates, like Tony Finau, Zac Blair and Danny Summerhays, advance to that next step. We look forward to another year and more local golfers taking advantage of their home course to earn points towards those coveted PGA TOUR cards.”
The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour season, beginning in January and featuring 26 tournaments across five countries and 18 states, will award 30 PGA TOUR cards and unprecedented purse sizes.
“As we enter the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour season, I am thrilled with the momentum we’re carrying into this next chapter of our Tour’s history,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. “The Korn Ferry Tour continues to play a vital role in consistently delivering future PGA TOUR stars and we’re proud to see our members compete for a record purse in 2023.”
Utah Championship is one of only two Korn Ferry Tour events, outside the Finals, that will be broadcast on the GOLF Channel.
